Introduction of graduation project 2009

Although people all are human, live in the earth, need water, food, love, friends etc., westill have our own thoughts, methods, personalities, talents, experiences, backgrounds(nationality, profession etc.). Because of that, different people define the same object bytheir knowledge, experiences, backgrounds, and then create their diverse opinions,individual views to the same object or issue. Further, as the experience, knowledge etc. ofthe person is increased, he or she can get wilder views to look at the issue and then alsocreate more possibilities for their life. Thus, “The same and difference” is a media to letviewers to create and stories by image and lead viewers to have their own imagedepending on stories.

After the Storm (Growing and re-build)

Old story:

The odd and strong wind damaged every things of this beautiful place and it also brought the spirit of rain. The rain spirit didn’t know how to control the quantity for offering the water so she provided amount of water to the space, which caused the situation of this place becoming worse. Every creature was struggling and tried to survive. Finally and fortunately, the wind was gone and the spirit of rain lost her power of giving the water. Suddenly the sun shine appeared and attracted the spirit of Rainbow to come. The spirit of Rainbow danced for creatures and gave them courage for life……… Some creatures were growing and the place was getting fancy again…….

New story:

Once, Holunu, a bright and lonely young girl, jumped from the safe lonely place normatively to the desert- Dubai which is next to the ocean. There was nothing in that place-Dubai. Holunu decided to build the fanciful heaven which is vivid, delicate and peaceful. Thus, Holunu used an odd and strong storm to wash and clean that place, and also leaded the Dubai into the water. Holunu became the biggest and first god in Dubai, and also create other gods, tree god, rainbow god, sun god, flower god, bird god, seed god etc. The tree god gives every god their name and also takes care for other plants’ gods and make plant’s god satisfy their physical and spiritual needs. All the creatures are gods and very happy to live together without bothering by human activity, enjoy their peaceful life.

Dreaming Cocoon (Everyone has their own world and can play a game with their rules in their mind.)

Old story:

In the future of many years latter, the game company built the special game with Dreaming Cocoon of fancy umbrella shape. Dreaming Cocoon is not only created for game, but also it can take the players flying in the sky and diving in the deep ocean, and be transportation.

As the players open the fanciful umbrellas, the umbrellas will become Dreaming Cocoon immediately. The system of Dreaming Cocoon will detect the brain of player and create the personal world which is fit the player’s emotional condition as the umbrella became the Cocoon. The players can have fun with individual creatures or special dream worlds which are made by players themselves in Dreaming Cocoon.

New story:

One day, a group of strange terrestrial creatures make the ocean journey with their boat-two special big cakes with seafood flavor. Sometimes their boat will become two big mushrooms. By the way, the one of special boats will grow faster and become bigger, and another one will stay small and peaceful.

They didn’t know their destination, and they just only want to travel and to visit everywhere. During the trip, they met two jelly-fishes in the ocean on that rainy day. The two fancy jelly-fishes was dancing with their special uniform, heir tendrils trailing behind them like long waving hairs, and also properties of stage-umbrella for these weird terrestrial creatures and wish them will enjoy and have a colorful trip in the ocean.

Magical Ancient Books (Book is a kind of media cross the hearts of people, the knowledge and the time.)

Old story:

The “Magical Ancient Book” was written five thousands years ago by an old guy-he had special gift for transferring the words to images and images to words. The old guy created hundreds of magical books. (As readers open these books, they will see all the words becoming the images and then the images running as the movie.) These books are treasure and are collected by few special antique collectors. One of these Magical Ancient Books is the most amazing one. All the collectors want to own that book.

The reason leads all of them want to get that book is: the old guy poured all his magical power into his last book before he died. That book doesn’t only show the movie, but also the reader can drifting in the world of book, interact with characters of book and have their individual adventures through the book. The book will record every thing and the next reader will continue running the unfinished story. The only term is the readers have to totally focus on the context of book.

New story:

One night, after a man read a book, he just put the book of fish in somewhere and went to bed. In the midnight, the book of fish leaded all the characters from the book to floating in the water. The book didn’t just look after the characters very well, and tell the rules as the mother, but also taught them they're considering if they want to adjust some scenario to approach more audience and make audience happy. Some of them listen very carefully, some didn’t listen.

Magical mask (After death – what is true? People will enter another world or disappear forever?)

Old story:

The magic of this special mask is that it can open the special door to cross from this space to another space for the person of wearing mask and lead the person to meet creatures from other spaces; however, the person has to pay something - term is their life. His or her body will slowly disappear little by little, but no one knows whether the person is just died or transmitted to another world.

Until now it is still a kind obscure story. No one knows whether the magical mask is existence.

New story:

A special shell, the shape is like a kind of flower and has an eye inside of the shell. People can see a color and special view of the world, and something crazy and different with other people through the special shell.

Now the shell is opening itself, a lurid of shell was closed for a long time, it bided a treasure. The treasure of the shell is that once the shell opened and showed the world in the air its hidden beauty through the all seeing eye of nature, happiness, passion and love, magic and fantasy, sadness and blue. (It is showing as water evaporating in the air.)
However, the shell sometimes could transform to become a mask because of some unknown reason, and the eye of the magic mask will suck everything, including all the hobbits and wizards, and it cannot be stopped, and will destroy everything or transmitted to another special, fancy or weird space, including itself.

Queer marsh (As the people in difficult situation and have to earn their live very hard, that will lead the characters of the people become more obvio

Old Story:

As people or animals, even the plants enter into the queer marsh, they will become different kind of staff by their characters, colors, smells, tastes etc. The peculiar thing of this queer marsh is that the marsh can make the characters of these creatures becoming stronger. (If a person is selfish, he or she will only focus on themselves and don’t care about others. If a person is gentle, he or she will provide more things for others.) However, it is pretty difficult for living with this weird marsh because some creatures cannot touch the water of marsh, some need blood from other creatures every day, some need a lot of fresh air from higher place…….. Every creature has diverse demand for their life. Thus, some creatures will make a group like a small family and help each others – also get what they need in order to survive in this marsh. Although this kind of cooperation can work well, the relationship of the cooperation is still not strongly stable for keeping for a long while because it is difficult to get along with different others well and easy to have fight.

New story:

Uncle Max used to work on an oil platform. It was long ago he worked there because now he got retired. He was a strong man, always working, because he had no wife and no children because he was always working on the platform. Being a worker on an oil platform got him lots of money. It was a dangerous job, a really risky one. But he loved to work on sea, far away from the land.
Now he moved out the dormitory into an old cottage as he retired. The house is lonely in the forest and no body has stay in the house for many years. One day, an old cottage had decided to become the insect so he or she is going to grow legs as he was sleeping. These he or she can show off, pouncing around the foggy moors without a moment's rest. This leads his dream- have his own sort of platform where he can float around the ocean, sailing as a free man. While working on the oil platform, where steel and steam where connected with each other, he dreamt about his organic personal boat where he can float away and cross the pacific ocean, conquer another island/continent, just like a perfect moving house for every traveller, wanting be like home and have your own garden (many unknown plant) everywhere, and seeing all different worlds-come true.

However, because the cottage became the insect; thus, he or she needs to eat and drink. Every time the insect cottage and the man arrive at their new resting place the hut puts his legs back into the ground to eat and drink. After a while, when all the ground has lost all its nutrition for the insect cottage, they leave again to find a new place to settle.

Imprisoned Beauty (Sometimes people pursue the beauty because of beautiful dreams of commercial effect – lies or other reasons.)

Old story:

One day, the five year old little girl played in the forest and she climbed the trees as usual. She was not careful enough when she was jumping from one tree to another one. As she was going to fall down from very high position to ground, the magical snake held her with his long body. After touch the magical snake, that girl was getting beautiful by every second and keeps her beauty like forever. She also got a kind of special gift from magical snake. She can create amount of creatures with her imagination and make these creatures become realistic. However, that is the only thing she can do now is dream and dream……….. until she is died if she will……

New story:

One day, some fisherman took the boat and fished in the ocean. Some of them accidentally fished into the fantasy world, where a fresh summer breeze at the top of the tight-knitted willow is blowing to the family’s home. There is a beautiful, slim and shy girl- jungle queen living with her families, bird, butterfly, bugs, teddy bears, little pony, fishes. She has special magical power of her singing which can make all the jungle animals scared and they have no choice but to serve her as a slave. However, if the wind past the body of their daughter, the body could be melt by the air; thus, she cannot leave the house.

One of the fishermen falls in love with the jungle queen and would like to marry to her. If she can love that guy, she can leave the house and get freedom, or she has stays proud in her prison-the house, deep in the ocean.

However, the girl makes the decision, using her special gift to control that fisherman and play with him, because she is pretty enjoy her life and cannot leave her families until now.
